WINNERS OF THE SCHOLARSHIP NAMED AFTER ACADEMICIAN T.A. SARIMSAKOV

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated May 7, 2020 No PR-4708 "On measures to improve the quality of education and research in mathematics", a scholarship named after academician T.A. Sarimsakov was established for students and researchers, who are studying mathematics.

Worthy candidates for the scholarship have selected by the Fund for Support of Development of Mathematical Science and Education at the Institute of Mathematics named after V. I. Romanovsky, Uzbek Academy of Sciences.

The quota and amount of the scholarship named after academician T.A. Sarimsakov is set as follows:

From the 2020-2021 academic year:

- 5 bachelors - 750 thousand Uzbek sum per month for a period of 10 months;

- 5 masters - 1 million Uzbek sum per month for a period of 10 months;

From 2021 y:

- 5 basic doctoral students - 1.5 million Uzbek sum per month for a period of 10 months.

Applications were received from 20 undergraduates and 4 master students. According to the results of the selection:
